*Sigh*

What a crazy weekend!

I couldn't leave the house on Friday until the pool was drained. By 8:30pm, it still wasn't finished, so I gave up and left the house. By the time I got to the MGM, the list for the $2/$4 mixed game was 9 deep. (They never got a second table going.)

I pulled up a chair between Falstaff and Easycure and watched for a bit. Then I started giving table massages, which I suppose could be my second calling. Easycure decided to be a gentleman and offered to forgo the remainder of his massage so I could give one to The Wife. The rest of the table, including DrChako, didn't seem to mind so much. The MGM floor staff, however, were not amused. That's the second time I got busted for rubbing on people in a poker room. And I'm not even a *working* girl.

I hit the craps tables with Perry for a little bit, but the table was full of people who must have taken lessons from RecessRampage. Yikes! (Yeah, so I broke the no table games rule.)

We finally got a contingent together to hit the Rhino, the recap of which I'm sure you've all read already . . .

On Saturday, my head was a mess. I played a bit of $1/$2 NLHE at the Venetian with MiamiDon, and I have to say it was the worst session I've played in a long time. I made two horrific calls that I normally would never make, which cost me my buy-in. Stupid. I blame myself for those mistakes as (1) I was still a bit tired from the night before and (2) I was distracted by a ton of things going on in my life. BAD, BAD, BAD.

I thought my post from Thursday was going to be the end of the drama - say what I need to say and move on. Boy was I wrong. I was contacted on Thursday and again on Friday by the person in question, and both times, I've come away even more confused and hurt and angry than before.

At this point, I just want that person to get some help. Serious help. It's become apparent from numerous conversations that there is a pervasive problem at hand that runs deeper than just some money loaned by *several* bloggers. It's also become apparent that one or more of the following things is going on: (1) said person is continuing to lie - even in the face of direct confrontation by several people and (2) it's not just said person who has done me wrong - it is also the spouse.

You see, I told the person in question that the first step is to start making amends. To admit all wrongdoings and to get some help. I told said person that Monday is the deadline for taking action that will show to the rest of us that said person is truly sorry and truly intends to take responsibility for all of the past bullshit. I also indicated that if no action was taken by Monday, I would post the lies myself.

I'm sure that none of you are surprised to hear that *nothing* has happened.

So this is what I've been told in the past couple of weeks:

Statement #1: I purchased a money order in the amount owed to you and mailed it to your house. (This was well over a month ago.)

Statement #2: My child wrote the address wrong on the package, so I have the package sitting at my house.

Statement #3: My spouse took the package and hid it from me, so I am going to wire you the money. (This was over three weeks ago.)

Statement #4: The bank is going to send the wire tomorrow, but it can't today because the bank's systems are down.

Statement #5: The bank sent the wire, and the money is out of my account. (This was over a week ago.)

Statement #6: The bank can't find the wire.

Statement #7: I do have the money that I owe to you. I will send it Western Union on Thursday during my lunch break. (This was on Wednesday, when I confronted said person.)

Statement #8: I do have the money that I owe to you. I will send it Western Union on Saturday. (This was on Thursday - AFTER my first post on the matter was written.)

Statement #9: I need to borrow the money from a relative. I will give it to someone to give to you on Monday. (This was Friday.)

The funny thing is that it's not even about the money anymore. As I mentioned in my prior post, it's a debt that I am capable of eating. The point is that said person, even when confronted on the subject, is continuing to lie.

It makes me think that said person is still in denial about everything that has happened.

So for those of you who are in contact with said person, please please please show some tough love here. Do not make the same mistakes that I made and become an enabler of this activity.

No more excuses. No more lies. No more bullshit. GET SOME HELP NOW.

Knowing that my head wasn't in it, I took the day off on Sunday and hit the Angel Park Golf Course. I am continuing to see improvements in my game, which is a good thing. My goal is to hit in the mid-90s by the end of the summer . . . (yeah, I'm *that* bad).

I had some business matters to attend to today, so no poker for me. I did manage to catch up with MattyEbs for a bit, but he's only in town for a shade over 24 hours. Talk about a degenerate!

Next on tap for me is Event #19, $1,500 PLO, which starts tomorrow at noon. I know I'll see at least one familiar face in the field.

**********

My girl Shavonne is deep in the WSOP Ladies Event, so I gotta give a huge shout out to her. The last I checked, all remaining players are in the money - she's sitting around 7th place with 26 players remaining.

Also, please put Big Sed (KngofKngs) in your thoughts and prayers. I found out today that his mother had a stroke on Sunday.

And for the rest of the blogger brethren that I saw over the weekend, I'm sorry that I didn't get to spend more time with you. Sometimes life gets in the way.

Unbelievable. She obviously has some serious issues. Hopefully, this will motivate her to seek the help she needs. What a terrible way to live your life! Lie after lie...so very sad.

On a brighter note, best of luck tomorrow! Try to forget all of the BS and just play your game. Leave the crazies to their own little sad world and don't let them F-up yours. :)

Hopefully someone will be updating us with your progress tomorrow??

Hey girl! LOL

Just got home and am only now beginning to catch up on blogs.

1. BEST OF LUCK TOMORROW!!! I'll do my best to follow Pokernews from work (been out of the office for days, and may be jammed). You've got the skills to pay the bills, and turn your suckout avoidance dial all the way up, and you'll be fine.

2. I am sad that you're still having to deal with this issue, but bless you for showing the fortitude to show a bit of tough love.

3. I've never broken 120 for 18 holes.

Anyway, it's good to be home, hope there's some good railing for you tomorrow!

It was awesome to see you . . . you can give me a massage any time . . . I'm sure the guys won't mind (even if the MGM does).

I really had a great time with everyone . . . and F-Train is an absolute doll . . .

So next time you are frustrated with the people who lie and cheat you, remember that you've got a whole contingent of people out there who adore you . . . including an adorable guy who's got a thing for hot Asian women!

Until we can do it again . . .

You need to write off the money and associated person ASAP! It's starting to effect you and your poker too much. Concentrate on what you went to Vegas for, poker and fun! Get rid of outside distractions.

Hope all else is well. We are working on our 4th day of 90+ in NYC.

Take care!

My monster roll at the craps table is legendary...

You sure this said person really just has a problem as opposed to her and her spouse being con artists and "pretending" like they have a problem?

Sorry to hear about your problems. We'll have to get together in Vegas and place some bets while I roll at the craps table. We'll get rich together!!!!!!!

Yours truly,
Craps master

wow. If I'da known you were going through all that, I'da bought you another lap dance, sweetie.

Obviously I'm the most oblivious blogger in the world, because I have no real idea who you're referencing. And I'm ok with that. I hope everything resolves well, and if you need someone's ass kicked, you've always got a hillbilly friend to do that for you.

Great seeing you, great backrub at the MGM, and even great donking off money to you at the IP. Live, deuce, indeed.

I, too, have no idea to whom you are blogging about, but unlike Falstaff, I'm a nosey bitch and want the details. Who will protect me from this rampaging money-borrowing blogger?! Without a name, I am defenseless to thier charms. Save me CK, Save Me!

Oh, and good luck. Just play like you mean it. That's all you can do. You have the skills, after all.
